Captain Brad Brownfield is a country-genre songwriter and recording artist. Brad holds a masters degree in civil engineering from MIT and served as a platoon leader while deployed to Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division. Brad composes music for other country artists while being an active duty Infantry officer and his own track ‘Tacoma’ has gained 700k+ listens across streaming platforms. He has served from 2015-present and cites his father and grandfather’s military service as a strong influence for joining. Brad’s music aspirations include moving to Nashillve to write songs professionally for a label after his service is completed. His military awards include the ranger tab and combat infantryman’s badge.
